Coaching the manager
A manager can either help of hinder the team but with a little coaching, training and self-awareness building all managers can be a great foundation for the business. I was working with an existing client - creating a marketing and sales plan when they asked if I could help them on a 1-2-1 basis. The first step was getting to know the real person and what drives them forward everyday. Next we talked about assumed barriers that where holding them back and how to overcome them. Training for Tomorrow
I have a second business - Fit For Tomorrow, and through this business I had a long conversation with a client regarding an unhappy team and low performance. The team needed a shared goal and a manager who could support them. I started working alongside the manager and gave them the training I wished I'd had when I first started as a people manager. We looked at communication, meetings and 1-2-1's. Then we created a training pack together for the team. We had joint ownership - as I was temporary and they were a fixture. Over 2 days we worked on positivity, communication, wellbeing and support. The team then decided to create a shared goal - a mission statement. | Face to Face Training |
